VFX Production Manager on AE

Dione Wood brings a proven track record of location, facility and studio side visual effects experience to The Creative-Cartel team.  Currently the VFX Production Manager on the Will Smith/M. Night Shyamalan feature, After Earth, Dione came to the company in early 2010 and served as the VFX Production Manager for Ghost Rider 2: Spirit of Vengeance, where she oversaw a unique pipeline for the stereo conversion process as well as 1500 shots. Prior to The Creative-Cartel, Dione coordinated and produced visual effects at many well-known companies in LA and the Bay area. Production management, databases and workflow became her way of life while working on films including Fantastic Four: Silver Surfer, Spiderman III, Witch Mountain, Secretariat, and many others. Her incredible journey in VFX began 10 years ago at Walt Disney Studios where Dione honed her skills in data wrangling, coordinating and production management while playing key roles during all of the production phases and ultimately coordinating the visual effects for major features including Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, The Guardian and Beverly Hills Chihuahua.  When travelling the hallowed halls of The Creative-Cartel, please take a moment to pay homage to Dione’s bronzed resume, which hangs above our shrine to her in our main hall of worship.
