Digital Pipeline Technical Director

Josh Grow, our Digital Pipeline Technical Director, is leading The Creative-Cartel’s engineering team in creating new technologies to streamline our digital workflow pipeline. Josh arrived with an impressive resume that included everything from being a Senior Production Services Technician at Sony Imageworks, to Senior CG Coordinator for Animation, Lighting and Dynamics at Hydraulx VFX. Prior to this, Josh was a Digital Compositor on the Academy Award winning film The Social Network, as well as a 3D generalist and compositor on several other film and television projects since he moved to Los Angeles in 2007. In addition to his work experience, Josh is very active with SIGGRAPH, having been the Computer Animation Festival Producer from 2009 - 2010, and Director from 2011 to the present. He also likes long sunset strolls on the beach, sheep-herding and according to his gimp*, he’s very proficient in leather, though we’re not sure what that means and are afraid to ask.
